Won't exchange money (cash) unless you have an account, I have two other credit union accounts out of state and neither have EVER required me to use my member number to exchange bills for other denominations. Very poor service and Palmettto Citizens gives credit unions a BAD name.

My banking experience was somewhat okay until I had multiple problems with accessing my online account.
Finally it got to the point where I could no longer have online access and went to the bank to rectify the situation and was told "Well we can't really do much about that". Not to mention I have had several breeches in my account where I've had to cancel my card and meet with an associate each time to file a report. Needless to say, I have switched banks.

One of the last true credit unions out there. They don't charge you for doing business with them like banks and even some other "credit unions" have started to do (I'm looking at you South Carolina State Credit Union). Even if you accidentally overdraft your account they only charge you $2.00 and open up a line of credit that you pay back all at once or over time! (You have to set this up first, but its free!!) At SCSCU they would charge me $30 just to transfer the money from my savings account!! Oh and they have a free coin counter for members! That was the reason I got the account in the first place. I stayed once I realized that banking there was awesome!!
