I was referred to Dr. Hartley by my pain management doctor after an MRI showed damage to spinal cord. Dr. Hartley sent me for a more current MRI (the one I was given to take to him was 6 months old). I went back today and he told me exactly what was wrong and how it had changed. Dr. Hartley and staff are extremely polite and efficient. I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving. I have complete confidence in Dr. Hartley.

Dr. Hartley literally saved me. I was experiencing less and less mobility over about a five day period with no assistance from the ER. Thankfully I was able to see Dr. Hartley and was immediately admitted to the hospital with prompt testing. He was able to correctly diagnose me but unfortunately unable to treat me as my condition is inoperable. He is the best.

If it's the same one I saw, I was treated like trash. I was told that there was nothing wrong with me, that it was all in my head. He told me that if I wanted to be cut open that he would gladly do surgery because he loves cutting people open but that there was nothing wrong with me. I left in tears.

Unlike other reviews I have read, the office staff was friendly and attentive. We had a 2:00pm appointment with Dr Lankenau, after waiting over an hour to even see the doctor, we were told there was no treatment that could be done due to the YOUNG age of the patient (29yrs old), the doctor then proceeded to tell us "I can pick and choose who I help, you are not the one I help" and walked out the door. This has been the most disheartening experience with a medical professional. I do not recommend wasting the time with this physician.
