Need better hygiene. Seriously, this was gross. The food was amazing but the whole experience was overshadowed by the smell of trash. Like it was bad! And there were multiple flies moving around. Again, take out the trash please! The tubs of options were all mixed and gross. The counter, gross. I lost my appetite the second I sat down. It was that kind of sweet, “old-garbage” smell. Please just sweep the floors at least/wash off tables. They were so nasty!
I had a bad experience here at this location. Employees were very rude. I asked for a refund after they were not able make a burrito for me, due to their machine not working I ordered online. I was then proceeded to be told that, my refund will be issued later. Not when I was currently in the store but later. So, I called later that evening to see if my refund has been issued and no answer. I then was able to talk to someone and they said my refund was being issued. Something that seemed to take seconds to do, I don’t see why it couldn’t have been taken care of when I was in the store the day before. This location is not friendly nor professional. The employees didn’t need to be rude and treat me with disrespect when I wanted a refund when I came in to get my burrito that day. I won’t be going back to this location and probably won’t ever eat at Pancheros again.
Two times in a row I have came in and they were not only out of tofu but had no signage at all that they were out of tofu. I only found out they have no tofu once I get to the protein part of my order to where I am then just sitting there with a half complete burrito and no other choice but to go further because what am I gonna do, tell them to throw it all out? If they had a sign then I’d have no problem that they were out of tofu but instead as a vegetarian, one of my few options is gone with me having no clue. Even worse that the burrito is barely filled and is dry
I’m seeing other people have had the same experience but i’ll say it too, I love pancheros but this one is almost always awful. The line is always a mess like i always get something i didn’t order in my quesadillas like a bunch of corn or tomatoes and they’re always out of ingredients, the other day they were out of dough??? and today they were out of sour cream and to go cups. It’s been like this for years i’ll go to the pancheros in Johnston and the difference is crazy like I just want to be able to go in and have a normal experience. The managers seem like they’re rude to employees which puts employees in a bad mood always. Just get it together. Please all these 1 and 2 star reviews are begging
Out of every Pancheros I have been too, this is by far the worst location. The few times I go the food is either cold, or the store is not open. I have been sick multiple times after eating here and would not recommend it to anyone if they are even open when you visit.
To the girl in black polo that might be management. Act like you’re getting paid for what you do. Having attitude with costumers and constantly having an rbf affects more people than you think. On top of bad service the whole store smells and it looks like none of the booths/seating has been cleaned in hours. Take your money somewhere else bruh.
Waited a very long time, I saw 2 of 5 employees actually working- the others talked to each other. The food stations were so messy and mixed together with each other. When asked for veggies, I got the 5 pieces of veggies left that were scraped off the bottom of the empty pan. They wouldn’t give me a cup for water, so I had to pay for a soda cup. The cheese quesadilla I ordered was given to people behind me, twice. And the queso I got had large chunks of black stuff in it. Love panch normally but will not be visiting this location again.
How does this place survive. It has been terrible for so many years I can’t even remember the last positive experience we had there. The last few times we have tried to purchase food here they haven’t even been able to make a burrito. One time they were out of rice, then today their press doesn’t work so no tortillas. Beyond that, the place is dirty in the kitchen and the seating area. I’m not exaggerating when I say we have tried to eat here several times in the past few years but they can’t even maintain the essential ingredients to make a burrito. I don’t want your apologies here, either pay workers/management enough to make this place work or close the doors. It’s pathetic.
Ordered a chicken quesadilla and only had cheese, no chicken. Told the staff and showed them..they insisted it had chicken. My daughter ate just a cheese quesadilla, no chicken.
Went there and they Denied me service because they had too many online orders. Was really rude didn't even say there will be A wait just sayed I had to order online wat a joke
