Tried the New Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Brioche. Absolutely Fabulous!!! An excellent addition to your menu. Different than the other places. Price was fair , serving size was good , presentation was good, quality of product was excellent.

This is a new building on the North side of Ankeny.  It is the second Panera in Ankeny.  It is very clean.  The service is fast. The food is the usual healthy, tasty menu items.  The coffee is mild in taste and hot and plentiful.

Normally, we like eating at Panera. When this location opened, it seemed a convenient place to set up an online order for dinner to pick up on the way home after doing an errand in the area. We've ordered from here three times, and every time my food has been messed up every time. Sandwiches were soggy with too much sauce, had cheese or meat missing, or had tiny bread slices that barely held in the contents. Soups were cold, or mixed up, or even replaced with a mac and cheese. And these mistakes got worse each time. After the third occasion, we called in to politely explain what was wrong, and their attempt at correcting it was to give us a ten dollar gift card, which nowhere covered the cost of the meal. Won't be going back for a long time.

Waited in an enormous drive through line only to find out that they're out of all soups 2hrs before closing. I have been in restaurant management and simply 'running out' is unacceptable, especially running out of 5 things. The menus were electronic so I assume they can be updated to reflect their current inventory but they were not. Because we were in the drive through we still had to wait in the long line, there was not a way to exit. Probably won't be back.

This location could use more service training or employees from the Delaware store. The cold flavored lattes are terrible. I don't know why it hasn't registered in their minds that the flavored syrup needs to be mixed in hot  liquids first (just a tip). I've gotten a few orders that missed products, like chicken in a chix Cesar salad or half a salad when I ordered a full salad (hahaha).  Come on guys! Is it really that hard? Soon you're going to piss off more customers, especially knowing that they are paying an average of $12 per meal.
