Absolutely disgusting. Tastes like nothing. Husband tried and agreed. Cheese is so bad. I used to like Panera, but this is not ok.Food: 1/5
Love the food at Panera! Green Goddess Caprese Melt was awsum!Food: 5/5
We ordered 2 baguettes and they were terrible. Corn chowder soup was good, but the Smokey Buffalo Chicken baguette had very little chicken. There was barely enough for 1/4 of the sandwich. I usually like Pampers Bread but this was a bad experience.
I typically order the warm bowl from the store at the mall and the quality is much better and you get a larger serving. I just got my dinner there and my bowl was tossed in the bag. The ingredients where all over the place and it barely had enough food to the point where I couldn't see the hummus that should have been in there. So I asked for it, because the last time at this location, it was forgotten. So I opened the bowl and realized a dab was in there but because there was barely any food in there I could not tell. At the mall location, the bowl is full and you can tell there's hummus there because it's pressing on the top. The lady offered me some extra and I refused because she was trying to convince me that the bowl there and the bowl at the mall are the same, I'm like I'm the consumer, I should know when there's a difference in quality. The only advantage here is the dining space, it's much larger than at the mall. Definitely better quality and service at the mall as well. Update: After consuming the bowl I had to go take some left over antibiotics because both my tonsils began hurting after I ate. You go figure...dirty food does that. $20 wasted, to think I even tipped on a takeout order, just to have this experience. I will never be going back to any Panera
This is by far the best Panera considering atmosphere, it feels so cozy but also very stylish. Has a fireplace, outdoor seating, different sections that makes you feel like you are in a different place every time you sit at a different section. Fast internet, easy access to plugs for your computer, very friendly and fast working stuff and always very clean with full selections exhibited. Parking lot is large enough and makes it very convenient even in extremely busy Black Rock area, there are other stores at the mall so you can shop without having to drive after you had your meal or drink. Drink selections are limited in Panera the old menu was much better. But still the best of its class in a large perimeter in that part of Fairfield. Most Panera customers are not happy with the small interior very modern look as it gives the expression of a fast food place. Panera customers usually like to sit down and hand out at their local Panera. This was seems new and nice with old glory. Which makes it favorite hand out cafe in Fairfield for many. Vegetarian options: Mediterranean sandwich, tomato soup, salads etc Parking: During lunch hour parking lot a bit busy as this is a very busy location but the rest of the time it is always easy to park. Even during the busiest times due to this location being part of a shopping mall there is plenty of parking available. Kid-friendliness: Menu and large interior as well as outdoor terrace is very nice for children to hang out without getting board. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a large Panera with enough space for someone to move around with wheelchair. I don’t use one but I have seen a few people using them very comfortably in this location. Bathroom also has wheelchair accessibility.
Whoever was working on sandwiches today did an absolute exquisite job because my sandwich was exactly what i asked for and exactly what i wanted and it was delicious and made my entire dayFood: 5/5
Great food, only thing i dont like it, sometimes i order for pick up, they always chamge pick up location around, hard to keep upFood: 4/5
Came to pick up DoorDash and was rudely told to get my other somewhere else where no one was able to help me. Hopefully somebody corrects this inappropriate customer service.Service: 1/5
They aren't consistent with the way they make there sandwiches. Sometimes they are good and other times they are light with the ingredients. I guess it depends on who's making your sandwich that day .I just received one of the sandwiches that was mostly bread and light on the steak and toppings.Recommended dishes
I enjoy Panera, but honestly have never liked this one. Food is the same, layout is nearly the same as most Paneras, but something is just off. No one seems particularly happy to be there, haha. Kid-friendliness: The mac and cheese is always a hit with the kids, everything else is very OK, but rarely exciting to them. Booths make it easy to eat with your kids without too much chaos.
