I have been a tenant for 3 years and there has ALWAYS been an issue, where there was a screw up in their system regarding rent, issues in the unit (lack of hot water) cracks in the floor, mice, bugs, no heat, failure to respond to maintenance requests, entering apartment without authorization, leaving lights on in the apartment when no one is home and even issues with the locks..I have dealt with it all. But this past week, I've had enough. I submitted my rent early for April through rent cafe, which I do every month without issue. Submitted payment on 3/30 and the money is still in my account. They have no explanation but blamed my bank however my bank has no attempt from Pangea. Here we are 8 days later and it still hasn't processed. I have documented and recorded every conversation where I was told numerous lies from agents and a manager. The property manager, Daniel, doesn't call neither does the zone leader Evelyn. I have escalated to HUD, BBB and city of Chicago. It is beyond negligent to have a tenant occupy an apartment without hot water..ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THEY MAKE US PAY A PORTION OF THE WATER BILL. I'm over Pangea at this point and will be pursuing an early lease termination.

Worst realty ever. The property managers don't respond and they never try to handle issues that are out of your hands. These people are just money hungry. They put an eviction notice on my door after I paid my rent 2 weeks early ( my rent has never been late). These people are unorganized and unprofessional. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Do not lease with them.

Don't I repeat just don't. Mislead twice costing me more than i was quited for move in. The front door of the building has a lock that has not worked for days and i cant get in when i need to even thought i pay rent here. Maintenance say they have to wait tjree days for parts when there are severay hardware stores close by(disable remove it then).On top of all that, a while back I had to go to court and pay court fee if I want to keep the unit. The front gate lock got fixed next day though. When are they supposed to install solar panels??? How are they still charging me complete rent with incomplete service? They are so trash that I had been trying to contact the property manager again for rent payment with no response for months only to finally find out he wasn't with the company anymore (no notice). I still got late fees...I mean who doesn't want to pay extra for trashy-rehabbed-bando apartments?!?

the building 7934 s Wabash is infested with mice, roaches and bed bugs. the washer and dryers barely works. In the past two year I"ve stayed here my new beds couch had to be tossed in the trash. When the Pangea exterminator comes all he does is put down trap and spry what i've been doing. Only time you see a property manger is when your rent is late and you didn't pay the full amount they don't return calls. Since i"ve been here this property have had about 4 different mangers. The fees is terrible they charge for everything. If you don't mind the extra visitor in your home and the lack of up keep and the lack of respect from the property mangers i guess this would be and ok place to live. The Marijuana smell and the sex you hear because he walls are so cheap and thin. The property manger still having returned anyone calls. They don't care because they don;t have to live in these areas. expensive apartment in crappy areas. they say they are helping ha they take advantage of low income and people with credit problems. let you not pay your rent on time or half by the 15th they are giving you a 5 day notice not trying to help with a payment plan that works for you. Dear Pangea you do have tenants that works and are good people but those you are losing to lack of respect and no compassion; Yes you got me out of family houses but because of the guns shots my teenage son couldn't stay here

The building on 6707s Michigan is nice but their heating system is very very bad
