I felt like I was on Kitchen Nightmares before they update the restaurant and food. The menus need to be updated as they were broken and had stains. Why is there a mix of Mexican and Asian foods on the menu at a dutch themed restaurant? It usually is a telltale sign of mismanagement. There are stains and scuffs on the walls and the water tastes weird I suspect the ice machine needs to be cleaned. Hoped the food would make up for it, but the best part was the English muffin. My veggie and cheese omelette had undercooked and bland vegetables wrapped in a thick bland egg jacket, with a side of bland breakfast potatoes. My partners hollandaise was split not emulsified correctly and we agreed it was edible but not thrilling. The clientele is cater toward the elderly it seems. Not worth going, writing this review in hopes that others do not make the mistake of just trusting the Google reviews.
Delicious Dutch pancakes with prices that are affordable and service that was fast - great breakfast spot! Logistical consideration: This is a great spot to stop for a meal if you’re visiting Park Nicollet - they serve lunch, too, and are in very close proximity to the hospital.
Food is always steaming hot & delicious, no matter what we order or what time of day we visit. Our longtime favorite server Heather, is so welcoming & often has our beverages on the table when she or her equally efficient son see us coming....great food, service & a family friendly atmosphere keep us coming back as often as we can.
Very good place to have your breakfast with family and friends. All dishes are well served and delicious. Despite the short staff during my visit, the service was great.Food: 4/5
Fist time here and i can say me and my husband were pleasantly surprised with not just the food. In which i got a denver omelet, potatoes and a pancake and he got the everything skillet. But also with the service. My waitress was patient, quick and so kind. They give you a pot of coffee not just a cup. The amount of food for the price was astonishing. It can get loud but atmosphere was inviting, the tables and chairs were clean and we got full. We will be back to try so many other things.
They have fantastic pancakes! I also really appreciate & enjoy that they offer beef sausage patties for breakfast. I work at a breakfast restaurant myself and our main choice of protein options are pork based which I personally don’t mind but I know having a beef sausage option would be much more viable for some customers. The environment and atmosphere is a little outdated but don’t let that steer you away from the food. I’ve done take out several times and dined in once and have always been pleased.
We stopped here for Saturday brunch for the the first time to try some Pannekoeken. 3 out of 4 of us got the traditional apple which was delicious but very sweet like a dessert. One of us got the club sandwich and he loved it. Hash browns and dutch oven potatoes were both pretty good as well.
Awesome Dutch/ American breakfast and lunch diner! The pannekoeken, something everyone should try, was hot and delicious. They have many flavors to choose from so something for everyone! The skillet breakfasts were awesome and the split pea soup was great! They deliver good service, so you can't go wrong here.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Such a delicious brunch! Well priced and the whole family loved it! This place is awesome I think we saw 2 staff and they were running their butts off our food came so quick, hot, and fresh! Don’t miss their extra large cinnamon rolls! We randomly stopped here and it’s become a family favorite!Food: 5/5
We got brunch there and liked the ambiance especially the hanging plants. The service was just ok 3 out of 5- to be specific, we were not asked if the food was good or if we needed anything else, also our folks expected a friendlier waiter, smiling a little more, maybe a little chit chat. The food was better than the service, we all liked our food though I've had better brunch. The Dutch country omelette was good, the banana cream and french silk pannekoeken are more like a dessert than a breakfast. The steak skillet - I asked for medium well steak but I definitely got a medium. Overall it was a pleasant experience, we might go there again.
