Family was in town and wanted them to try this restaurant. I had been here a few times before and was never disappointed. This time was not the case. The restaurant is somewhat dated, and dark. Lights were too dim. Service was just ok this time. Server was slow getting to us. It wasn’t that busy either. Maybe short staffed. We had Cheese Ravioli, Meat Lasagna,Chicken Cesar Salad, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Veal Chop. I had the veal chop. I’ve had it before, but this time my chop was over cooked, very stringy, and I think they forgot to season it. The Cesar Salad was just blaze. Chicken was over cooked. I tasted my dad’s lasagna and I wanted to barf. It almost tasted like the meat they use in chef Boyardee’s meat raviolis. Just a weird taste. I didn’t try the ravioli, but was told they were good. The fettuccine my daughter said was yummy. Needless to say this time around I was very disappointed. I gave it a 3 star, because I’ve had and tasted better here.
We came in an ordered take out and ordered a drink at the bar while waiting. The bartender was fantastic!!! He was attentive, with a great attitudeFood: 4/5
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars because they only have one men’s bathroom for a very large crowded restaurant. Otherwise the ambiance very nice, the pasta and sea bass delicious! The dessert was decadent! Service was good and our waitress Valeria 10 stars! Great place for dinner.Food: 5/5
I cannot believe this is supposed to be an authentic Italian/Sicilian restaurant. First of all the pricing is disproportionate for the quality of food. $17.95 for a Caesar salad which was so basic and had too much dressing. The presentation was lacking for a $18 salad that you could get anywhere else for $12. I'd never been here before so figured I'd play it safe with the bianco con prosciutto "pizza". The crust of a pizza is so important and these people use what I can only describe as a cracker-like crust. Seriously felt like I was biting into a saltine cracker. To make things worse this cracker had the most bland topping. Anyone who's had a pizza before would not call this a pizza. They need to find a true Italian chef.
The food is amazing not doubt on that! Also have gluten free pasta. I recommend on the ravioli mushrooms and ricotta. The acoustic is really bad too noisy. Service is slow, but I will definitely go again for the foodFood: 5/5
Fabulous Italian meal from beet salad, fresh bread and terrific Syrah blend to home made Penne and superbly made Casio e Pepe. Certainly not disappointing was the Affogato dessert which helped to create a wonderful night of dining. Staff was attentive and friendly as the spaced our meals so we could thoroughly enjoy the eating experience. The atmosphere in the room was comfortable and relaxing. On the list to return again for other dishes to explore on the menu.
Great restaurant! Has a very lovely vibe, especially the outdoor seating. Food was really good, I had the fettuccine Bolognese and it was delicious. Service was good, servers were nice. Overall a great place for an Italian dinner!
Everything I tried was delicious! And we all tried some of eachothers dishes lol. I'm Italian and I'm picky about the places that I will eat pasta at- but they did a great job. The boar ragu was so yummy! And I ordered a specialty pasta with black truffle-very rich and yet you wanted to keep eating it. The Staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere- they had it decorated for the holidays so it was even more enjoyable with all the garlands and lights
My friends and I made a reservation for 8:30. We arrived paid $12 for parking and walked in. We talked to the lady at the front desk and she said she will call the manager to get us a table. He said he will not seat us. We told him that we made a reservation for 8:30 and he replied with "so what". He was giving us an attitude until we left. I do not know what was the reason for this. It was very out of no where and extremely disrespectful and non professional.
Had a first date here, great food, service and ambiance!! The pasta was so fresh!!! Can't wait to go back!Food: 5/5
