Story

Papa's Raw Bar is a casual, island style, laid back but professional, friendly, very familiar and comfortable restaurant.

With over 40 years of experience, we have built a great relationship with our community, employees, vendors and fishermen. We have our own fishing boats, specializing in stone crabs, conch and fresh fish.

We enjoy what we do!

Started off with a dozen clams and some fish dip. Both were excellent. It was taco Tuesday so we then ordered blackened fish and shrimp tacos. Also excellent. Finished off a couple rolls of sushi. Don't remember which one's we ordered but I remember the spicy tuna at least. And it was wonderful. Great first visit.

There was a long wait for a table. The tentative wait time given of 20 minutes turned into 40. I didn't mind waiting as the hostess was apologetic and a waitress offered to take my drink order while I waited. It was worth the wait. The menu was extensive, the service was great and the food gave me visions of being a fisherman on a dance party barge headed for Excitementville, USA (a place that only exists in the dreams of the willing.)

Amazing food! The ceviche is so fresh and delish. The sushi rolls are a bit pricey but worth it. Live music on the cozy, tucked away patio. Lucky to get a spot come happy hour, though. Come early! Place is great all around. 5 stars!

Best seafood in south Florida. I drive 40 minutes each way to come eat papas. Sushi is amazing and so is the hibachi.

Great food. Went on a Thursday night for $1 oysters and drink deals for happy hour from 4-7. Great service. Sat outside with music. Chill atmosphere.
