this place is a joke, i think you need to drug test your staff, because they are a bunch of uneducated grumps, who need a lesson is customer service....

Well organized book section. Also a large collection of vinyl and movies. The proprietor is knowledgeable and professional.

Best used bookstore around. I wish I could give it more stars. I live in Oroville, and the used book store here is nice, but very small and doesn't have the best prices. The one in Chico has bad prices, is crowded, and is not well organized. This bookstore was awesome. Very well organized, very clean, a great selection, and great prices. I just wish I lived closer, I would gladly raid this store once a week. They also have used cds, dvds, vhs, and I noticed some records as well. Also, the store seems to be paired with the packing store next door, "Packaging Store". There is no wall between the two stores, and one clerk works both it seems. Looked like boxes, tape, foam peanuts, etc. Hehe, there was a sign on the window that said that they bought used moving boxes. I highly recommend this store, it's the best used book store that I have found anywhere near Oroville. I'll be looking for an excuse to go up there again next month. Hmm, what else can I say...it was a very hot day today, and it was nice and cool inside the store, and the clerk put on Johnny Cash at some point while I was roaming the shelves. Also, if you turn down Pearson Rd, there is additional parking in the rear.
