the location was amazing, a water-front million dollar view pitch - BUT EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THIS PACE WAS HORRID. The bathrooms facilities were disgusting, unusable, unsanitary, dead bugs all over, literally a tin can behind a wall no doors open to the elements. if we had of been tent camping we would not have even stayed 1 night. Fortunatley we were able to use our RV bathroom. The website touted there were kayaks and paddleboards to rent and there were not. Website also touted event space. wedding venue - not that we could find. The 'cabins' were nothing more than rickety old mobile homes. I tripled checked we were even in the right place as I thought we must have gone to the wrong site.  We will not be back here.

We love to camp there...we miss Peggy and her husband they kept the grounds mowed around the tables and the septic lines mowed and fire pits cleaned out... still a good place to camp the new people that are running it are very helpful...this past weekend they were pushed to the limits because of the storms and were quick to get people moved and the trees that had fallen cut and removed...can't wait to return for Labor Day weekend.

I called a 4 days before my camping trip to cancel the reservations and the person told me they canceled the reservations. 2 weeks later, today, I find out the charges were charged to my credit card and the reservations were NOT canceled. Called and had a manager call me back and she said they would NOT refund the $90 fee/s, because they did not put in the cancelation request. THESE PEOPLE are shady and their park is not nice.

Besides all of that, I will say:  Their outhouses are gross, with dead bugs in the showers. One shower house is a trailer that is very run-down and delopotated (needs recycled). Horrible customer service and I will not ever go back. I have multiple friends that camp with me a lot and we all agree that we will NEVER make reservations with this park again, and ALWAYS advise others against using the park.

We know lots of people - so we will be very glad to spread the word.
