This was actually my second time coming here. My first time was a while ago when they first opened. I though it was just OK then. But since we had plans in this direction anyway, I decided to try it again. The bottom line is that it's nice, clean, with good food, and reasonable prices. My only main thing that remains the same to me is that their coffee is only redeemed by its caffeine value. Taste-wise, it's industrial. It was serendipitous that I happened to crave eggs benedict and this place has an interesting set of plays on the classic (including the classic as well). I decided to go with waffles benedict - poached eggs with Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce on Belgian waffles. The eggs were poached a little hard, the bacon was outstanding, and the sauce was a little disappointing in taste (I'm guessing pre made) and quantity. But they were served on a full sized waffle which was served with maple syrup on the side. Interesting. I was expecting more of a mini waffle I guess. My wife got the farmer omelette, which must have been good since she inhaled the whole thing (in an elegantly dignified way). She opted for french fries rather than home fries which were excellent. A few negatives. We waited a long time after we were seated for our orders to be taken. At one point, you could hear one of the waitresses talking to another about something involving shouting expletives. And lastly, back to the coffee. On the bright side, they kept the mug full. So bottom line, good diner for breakfast food that we will probably come back to try some of their other offerings.

I love going to diners for breakfast, they're my favorite go-to place. And this is a great diner. The staff is equally as great. Fast service, not all the time, but only because they're busy.
