Service was ridiculously slow! All four steaks were over cooked and mashed potatoes were cold. The four people who ordered the steaks said that they had to wait so long for their order, they didn't want to wait twice as long to have them remade. The server acknowledged that the steaks were all over cooked and made appropriate adjustments. 
This is the only nice restaurant in Seguin and it is disappointing that it has taken such a down turn in good and service from our previous visits.

Had reservations for 10, on a December Friday night. The place was full.  Our experience was not good.  The food was not prepared right. My $28 Ribeye was over cooked, no gravy on the mashed potatoes, no bread served with the meal. My wife's Pan Seared Chicken was tough, over cooked, sent it back. Our waiter couldn't attend to our needs. No forks when the meal was served.  Hard to get refills, or didn't after the first refill. We bussed our own table to make room for our dessert.  Would not recommend this place.  Not a good experience for our birthday celebration.

The place was nice and the check in staff were super friendly. The rooms are a bit small, but they were comfy. The only 2 things I would complain about is the room gets really hot every once in  while at night. My husband and I adjusted the A/C several times, so we didn't get much sleep. The bed was super comfortable though! The other complaint was the restaurant staff in the morning. No one helped us and when someone did show up, she was a bit rude and there was no coffee and the tables were still dirty. We arrived to the dining room around 9 am to enjoy the complimentary breakfast, but left, oh well. Other than that the location is perfect and if you're a history buff, you'll love the look of the building and the history. Don't forget to cruise by the Mongolia Hotel that is located on Crockett St behind Park Plaza, apparently it is haunted!

It's I beautiful little place . The rooms are very nice and clean , when they say they have a handicap room with a roll in shower it's not a lie like so many other hotels say. We would have like to stay one more night BUT the elevator stoped working. . Things like that happen .

We drove from California for our niece's wedding in New Braunsfels.  After checking the reviews and pics of the Park Plaza Hotel, I reserved it.  I am so happy it was just as I expected, such an awesome experience food was great, room was clean and quiet. The park across the street was absolutely gorgeous with all the trees lit up. The shops within walking distance was a plus. Very quaint and friendly little town!
