I recently went to the Parkade Cinemas and I was overjoyed with the changes they've made. The ticket prices are always under $10, they show first run movies now but they will keep some longer to keep with the tradition of being a second run theater. It's clean, clearly everyone takes pride in their job and it truly shows. The staff is friendly and helpful, they'll engage you and I truly felt welcomed, they they were truly pleased to see me. They have a lot to offer other than movies, they do karaoke, paint night, dinners, dance and exercise nights. And they now have a luxury auditorium with the most comfortable recliners. Incredible. If you haven't been, then do yourself a favor and go. You won't be disappointed.

The theatre itself is very retro, which is amazing! Really liked the older movie posters on the way down to Auditorium 2. Kind of disappointed there was only one trailer... Popcorn and Drink prices were insane for the portions you get. Paid about $9 for a "large" popcorn and a "large" drink. They were SO tiny!!! Also only one guy working on a Friday morning... Kind of disappointing. However, for $6 or $7 for a Matinee it's not terrible... May stop again when I'm in the area... but not too sure if it's worth it.

The theater is located in back of a strip mall and looks run down from the outside, but the interior is clean, and there is effort to keep the theater space modern. The major plus are that they play movies longer from their release date, which helped me catch a movie I was too busy and sick to see in the first weeks of release. The other major plus, is that the chairs are very comfortable, wide, reclining, with foot support, amd have mini table holders for concessions.

Just watched Red Sparrow at Parkade Cinemas. Love this gem of a theater. Reasonable prices, friendly owner and staff, and the reclining seats are fantastic. Never been so comfortable watching a movie.

Excellent ticket prices of you don't mind waiting for new movies to come out.  It takes them a while for new releases to play here but worth the wait for half the price
