I went to Parkinson Rec for over two years to primarily use the fitness centre. On more than one occasion I'd find someone so messed up in the change room trying to take a shower or doing god knows what else. I've had the cleaning lady get mad at me quite regularly because I would be using the change room when she "needed" to clean it. Hell, nothing there is ever that clean. The men's bathrooms always had piss all over the seats or worse. As for the fitness centre, it's small, cramped and the equipment is mostly intended for the 80-100 year old demographic. Honestly when I switched to Global right next door I felt like a fool for going there for so long. The price is exactly the same for a month to month membership.

Great family place. Even better kid playground! Pool, soccer fields, tennis (or something that resembles it, more like crossover with ping pong??), great programs. always busy.

Awesome field right next to the Apple bowl. Things to do here: go for a run on the track or in the field. Play soccer or other field sports. Tennis. Small outdoor gym (lackluster). Fly a kite. Chill and read a book. Many times there are sports teams practicing or cheerleaders practicing etc. Usually something going on there.
