I don't understand why it is so difficult to get a knee replacement, because another Dr performed surgery on my knee 30 years ago. They asked why I didn't go back to the Dr who performed my surgery, and I replied because he retired. Then it became a very frustrating experience on the phone. It's as if they don't want the additional funds from a new patient. Ever since they started with this specialist title the care received seemed to have dropped in ratings. Now I wonder if this is the practice of all orthopedics, not wanting to perform surgery after another doctor has done so. I'm not too optimistic after this experience. Dr Scott Price is who I was referred to. Must be nice to be able to turn down business.

I worked with Kristen in Physical Therapy to rehab my right ankle after I dislocated my foot from my ankle.  She is the most compassionate medical professional I've ever encountered.  It is very obvious how much she cares about her patients to make sure their recovery is progressing.  She was always prepared, always looking for new things to help along my rehab. She was very invested in my progress and was very happy for me when I passed milestones.  Even though I had to wake up really early for my appointment,  she was always enthusiastic and happy which made the whole process enjoyable.
