Great stuff even if you don't have a party to plan

Should have more employees the day before Halloween. I came in and got 2 balloons. I paid and then the cashier proceeded to tell me that it would be just a second before she would inflate the balloons. I expected her to run and grab something or go prepare something. However, she continued down the long line of customers rather than completing my purchase. I waited and waited, and she helped at least 5 customers. I have things to do so I politely asked her if she could inflate my balloons. I wasn’t going to wait for her to serve everyone and since I had already paid she should have completed my entire transaction before moving on to the next customer. She then proceeded to give me a look of anger, snatch my balloons, fill them (this took 5 seconds) and then give them to me. Politely I responded with “thank you” to which she gave a very rude “you’re welcome” with an eye roll.

My husband & I took our boys here to get their Halloween costumes for this year. They picked out what they wanted & we were sent to the back room to find the employee that does costume retrieval. After not being able to find the right guy another guy offered to help us but they didn't have one of the costumes in stock anymore so another one was picked, we got the costumes, made our purchase & headed out. Only to get all the way home to find that the guy gave us both boys costumes in the wrong sizes!!! Then Party City wouldn't allow us to return them even though it was their mistake. So about $80-$100 for costumes that were too big!

They only have things for literally occasions/ holidays and times of the year, not the whole year, it's PARTY CITY! They should have things for every occasion ALL YEAR!

I stopped by for accessories and the selection was decent. I found some festive items to wear. I'm completely appalled by the staff last Saturday. I'm a customer service manager for 3 boutiques. I didn't know that employees are allowed to smoke out front and use profanity. I didn't know that my cashier should be more focused on going home and drinking a coffee rather than help me. This is a nice shopping center and I can't believe that this lack of etiquette is allowed.
