We so wanted to love this place. We were there 3 days and the only person who smiled was the valet as we were leaving. The hotel is beautiful, but the service and staff leave much to be desired. My sister's phone was stolen by the pool and the next morning it was located in LA. We do not think it was taken by guests, since there was only 4 people by the pool that day. When we told management about the theft, he did not apologize or offer any compensation. An "I'm sorry" was all we really wanted. So watch your things while you are there.  We did not get the beach vibe from this unfriendly staff. Go to Hyatt, unless you want to spend a lot of money for an unhappy staff and the most unwelcome vibe.

Pasea is beautiful, clean and well finished. Our room was bright, airy and extremely comfortable. I could not recommend it more. It is a perfect location to shops and restaurants. The view we had of Huntington Beach and the Pacific was breathtaking. We loved our stay and would return.

Charges. The $35 a night service charge is a big hit and must consider when booking as it will be added on. Valet is $30 a night if you have a car which can also sting. Worth if you are travelling around though.

Hotel is great. Rooms are nice. Stayed here for business and couldn't ask for a better place. But it does have it downfalls and these are mostly personal preference things. the pilliows for me are to fluffy and small. The down comforter is sandwiched between to covers that are not connected. It was just weird to me. Seriously though other then those great place. Oh one other thing 4 filler,for a,can of,coke at the coffee shop in lobby is a ripoff

We went to Tanner's for birthday dinner. Because we had a large group (10 people, so not that large) they made us do a prefix menu. The food was cold, we didn't get all the appetizers that we ordered, but we're still charged for them because of the prefix price. We spent over $1,500 and still had to wait in line to go to the bar upstairs. The tip was automatically set at 21% and there was tax on the tip. Overall it wasn't a great place to eat. I suppose if you're staying in the hotel it would be nice, but it's not worth it to go there for an event. I would not recommend this place.

The place is beautiful. The rooms are clean and new with a great view and a nice patio. The beds are comfortable and relatively spacious. The TV is 50-55 inches and set up properly (rare for a hotel). Has a great pool at 80 degrees, a kid's pool that's only 7 inches deep, and a nice hot tub. The staff is friendly and helpful at all turns. The restaurant is phenomenal. We were impressed by every aspect of the place, so much so that we had to extend our stay by another night.
