I've taken a couple of classes here. The teachers are great and the office staff is helpful. Like any other college though parking can become a hassle at peak times. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to get to class.

In 1985 while living in Pasadena, there was a Burrito Shop on Colorado Blvd, and Hill, (I believe) that sold the BIGGEST (I mean humungous Burrito Sandwich -and besides that the BEANS were delicious (out of this world in other words), with either pollo, beef, or pork fillings, and rice of course. Besides that they would literally POUR (I wanted to say dump the largest bunch of French fries onto the plate along with this huge sandwich, for the price of $2.00 or less, so for $5.00 dollars you could take home enough for two meals (which filled me (and the Ex) for two meals that week. I did not believe there was any restaurant or café who would do that in the USA. Live and learn became my mantra from then on.

This is the best community college if you want to save some $$$ before going to a university. The professors were helpful, and the school has different resources to help students to be successful. I was part of the honors and work-study programs on the campus. When I applied to transfer, I got accepted to UC's & CSU's. Most of my classmates also got into best schools, such as UC Irvine, UCLA, & UC Berkeley. One even got to Yale University! My advice? Set goals. Plan every day and work your plans. Learn from the people around you. Find a way and don't give up. Stay committed to your dreams. You can do it!

I love PCC! It's been one of the best community colleges in the U.S. for many years. Most of the senior teachers are gone, but the ones remaining are some of the best professors anyone could ever have. The staff and assistants are so very helpful, most would answer any questions regarding re-entering school/college, registration/financial aid; classes/graduation requirements, careers/certifications; transferring to a 4 year university, etc. There are also lots of opportunities to get involved in extra curriculars or volunteer with student groups on campus. If you or anyone else is undecided about what to do after HS, or is interested in going back to school after a while, you should take a look at what PCC offers. Is one of the best things I've ever done in my life. I learned so much about myself as well as academically. I'm forever grateful for the time I spent at Pasadena City College. 💜❤📚📐🔬🎼🎻🎨⚽
