I can't say enough good things about Pasadena pro. I've been taking my cats here for years. I have found Richard and his team to be honest and fair. Honoring warranties better than expected. They don't add on issues that don't exist. And work has always been done in a timely manner. Price has always been fair as well. If you want an honest fair mechanic take your car here. My cars go no place else for repairs.

Charged over double for a part. Part was not professionally installed. Payed 230$ for them to super glue a part together and plug it in. Do not go to this repair shop. 

When confronted about their morals, the owner stated business is business. While that may be true, taking advantage of your customers, especially customers who lack specific car knowledge is disturbingly, and justifiably wrong. 

I took my friend here to be taken care of. Unfortunately she didn't have much car knowledge and fell victim to one of the oldest plays in the book for mechanic shops. 

Sad. Very sad.

They didn't charge us for the diagnostic however, which was only 85$, since the part was installed then and there.

Will never recommend this autoshop to anyone. 

Sensor was within arms reach, I should have changed it myself, but I wanted to trust a professional business and have peace of mind. My fault for trusting this shady business!

It's rare that you find an automotive repair shop that you feel you can trust. In my experience, it always feels like they're inventing more problems than you actually have, and in many cases problems "suddenly arise" that weren't problems before. Not so with Pasadena Pro. Richard and the rest of them spent, kid you not, three weeks (with no cost to me) trying everything to see why my radiator was bubbling and why I was having heat problems, and each and every time I'd ask them "Is it the headgasket?" (which would be the most expensive possible reason, other than a cracked block). 

They swore up and down it wasn't, trying everything, until they did a hail mary with the water pump, which lo and behold it was. Other places insisted it was a cracked head gasket, but because of their work, they saved me something like 1500 dollars, not even including the free labor in diagnosing the issue.

In short, maybe you can get work done for ten bucks cheaper at a franchise, but at Pasadena Pro they make dang sure that they're fixing only what needs to be fixed, and won't charge you a dime more. These are the sort of people you'd drive 50 miles or more for, just so you know your cars in good hands. I can't recommend them any higher.
