Story

A family owned restaurant that serves up some classic Italian dishes with a flare! Our banquet room can hold up to 80 people alone in addition to our normal seating! Come on in and enjoy some wine, beer or classic Italian or Italian cream sodas! Open seven days a week. Lunch is served daily from 11AM to 4PM on dinner for 4PM onwards. Reservations are for parties of 8 or more.

Five main dishes​ were delicious. Salads obviously very fresh. Especially good bread, but would have liked oil and vinegar to dip. Great desserts and coffies.

I really like the food here! I grew up on homemade family recipe Italian food, and this is about as close to that as I have found nearby. Their bread is to die for.

Update 11/11/17: Wife and I came in randomly on the way home from a wedding. We were craving their food. We ordered the tortellini nonna and lasagna. As usual, the food was spot on. In fact, in the last 18 years we've been eating here and at their sister restaurant, Aruffo's Italian Cuisine, the food and service has been the most consistent and delicious of any Italian restaurant we've been to. To top it all off, the owner Tom is usually always in the restaurant and remembers his return customers and is enjoyable to speak with. He's also not afraid to get dirty and buss tables if they're slammed. Lastly, he has a great beer and wine selection. Most importantly, he's got a delicious extremely dark beer on tap. Sorry, can't remember the name. Go and enjoy a nice dinner. You won't be disappointed. Previous Post: Same owners as Aruffo's Italian Cuisine in Claremont. Incredible food and the best bread you will ever eat. The eggplant and lasagna dishes are my favorite.

The first time we visited Pasta Cucina Rustica when it initially opened, the food was marvelous, as was the service. Remembering this experience, we arranged to have my husband's birthday celebration there a couple of months ago. It had changed. The food was not of the same quality, and pretty pricey. We had planned to bring in a specially made birthday cake, however, we were informed that they would be charging $2.50 per slice "cutting fee." I asked the manager if this "cutting fee" could be waived as we would be bringing some very good business to their restaurant that night and it seemed rather petty in the grand scheme of things. He informed me that it was their "policy" - an unwavering policy apparently and no, it wouldn't be waived or reduced. What the manager failed to recognize, or didn't care to recognize, was that they would have made more revenue with coffees and teas, as well as encouraging future business. However their "policy" took none of this in to account. Apparently this restaurant has so much business they can afford to lose 10 future customers, because that is exactly what they did that night.
