Patria is the brainchild of Paolo Kautz, founder and former chef at Cafe Rustica, and his business partner, Gloria Magdirila, whose family has owned the building since the 1960s.
With a full bar, a wine list dominated by local reds, Kautz’ deft hand in the kitchen and Magdirila’s welcoming presence in the front, Patria is the go-to place in Salinas.
