The previous building served as the headquarters for real estate agency, Manta. The previous building rose to ; due to the Heights of Buildings Act of 1910, the building's height was restricted to being lower than the width of the right-of-way of the avenue on which the building fronts. Food and beverages are deli soups, but the staff on Saturday evening wasn’t very enthusiastic when dealing with customers. No smile and friendly manners. On top of that, the employees were noisy, laughing loudly and not caring that customers want to enjoy their cup of coffee.

Great pastries and sandwiches. Nice European feel for a chain restaurant

The service was awful and very unfriendly. No one offered us breakfast options or explained anything. It’s so unfortunate for such wonderful European chain to have such poor service in Washington D.C.

This used to be my go to place for Tomato Basil soup - they recently changed their supplier and now we get a tomato leafy concoction instead of the usual delicious creamy tomato basil awesomeness. I'm so disappointed by the change. I'll still come here for some lemon meringue.
