Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to my hair. I went in for a color touch up and partial highlights. They used the wrong dye for the color touch up (2N instead of 7N). As a result, I had my usual light brown with blond highlights in the back, but the top and sides of my hair were nearly black with some blond streaks. For some reason, they also thought it would be a good idea to bleach around my hairline, so when you pulled back my (almost black) hair, you'd see a shock of yellow around my temples. I ended up going to another salon the next day where I had to get all the dark portions of my hair bleached out and re-dyed. 

I wish I had listened to my instincts and left before all this happened. It was clear the students were very unsure about what they were doing; in my opinion, they were not ready to be providing this level of service. At one point, both students who were supposed to be working on me took off without explanation. After sitting there for several minutes, the instructor just started doing my hair and eventually had other students track down the ones that had gone MIA. 

Basically, I would not recommend going here for anything more than a basic trim. If you're looking to save money and want to get your hair done at a school, Schilling Douglas is a much better bet. Their students there seem to be better trained, or at least further along in their training before they are allowed to work on clients.

Go to this place only if you have enough time, I got my color and cut done it took me 4 hours.

Don't hesitate to go here IF you have plenty of time to spare; and aren't overly picky with the results, as they will vary from time to time as the stylists change.  I was pleased initially with their service, but found myself dreading to go there because of the time commitment it requires.  It can easily take over 2 hours for a simple haircut (like a bob) and over 4-5 hours if you are getting color as well.  Also, although they have always done a fairly decent job and your hair is checked by an instructor, I have still gone home only to find the perimeter of my hair uneven or raggedy looking.  One thing to keep in mind before putting your hair in their hands is that they are students, not professionals, and the end result may not be what you anticipate.

I received the best service here for my shampoo and style.  The staff was very polite and professional.  They were prompt and I was finished within an hour. I really appreciated the attention to detail on my hair that the student provided to me. I would recommend this school definitely to friends and family. I had such a great experience! Kudos!
