Gettin' the emergency response done for Pawlet, Vermont 24-7
The Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department responds 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to fires and other emergencies in Pawlet. We also assist the fire departments of other surrounding communities through a system of mutual aid, enhancing preparedness throughout the region. Our department is one of nine fire departments in Vermont dispatched by the Washington County Department of Public Safety. We are an all-volunteer outfit, comprised entirely of citizens of our town who donate their time without compensation. The Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, financed in part by taxes allocated by the town, in part by fundraising events, and in part by the generous donations of individuals and businesses in our region.
