My brother is a client of this payee company.  He called his case worker today asking for some extra money to be deposited into his account because he just got a pet bunny, and needed to buy a cage and food, etc. Not only was he told no (even though he has PLENTY OF money sitting in his account AND all his bills are paid this month) but he was treated VERY poorly, as was I. At one point in the conversation my brother and I were both on the phone with Diane Larson  (who is the owner according to her). My brother told her, "Maybe I should get another payee", Diane in return said, and I quote "if you think threatening to get another payee is going to make me care you're wrong. Loosing him won't cause me to lose enough money to make me care". WORD FOR WORD! That is what the OWNER of this company said to me and my brother!!!! Then she hung up on us. When we called back we spoke with a gentleman named Eric Larson (if don't think there is any relation between him and Diane). Who accused ME of being "disrespectful" to Diane. Now mind you, I only called Diane in the first place because I was told she was the boss and my brothers case worker refused to send him his OWN money. His case worker told him "it's not my problem " when he told her he had no money to buy food for his bunny. Anyway, so I called Diane to try to figure this out and see what's going on (because Susan Schmitt, his actual case worker wouldn't answer the phone). I was respectful at first, explained the situation,  agreed that my brother should have called to ask for money BEFORE getting the bunny, and then asked her what we could do to fix the problem. Now, as we were talking she became very defensive and rude. She even had the nerve to ask me "How do you treat people?" When I asked her how her and her company could treat disabled people so poorly as they did my brother. So when Eric said I was the one being disrespectful I was blown away. Anyway, he hung up the phone on my brother as well. (My brother, a mentally disabled 20 year old!!!!) A few minutes later I called Susan back (at this point I personally haven't talked to her), expecting to get her voice mail as it was about 3:15 and from experience I know that the closer it gets to 3:30 (her quiting time) she doesn't tend to answer the phone. But she did. She answered the phone and I explained the whole situation again,  I explained what happened on the phone with Diane and Eric (which I did not receive an apology for) and what my brother needed, although she already knew what he needed as she was the one who originally spoke to him and told him she wasn't going to give him anymore of HIS money and "it isn't my problem ". That's when she started in with, and again I quote "it will not send him any money today" and "this isn't my problem, [my brothers name] made a stupid decision". She then said that she would buy food and a cage on amazon and get it delivered tomorrow.  Isn't that going to spend unnecessary money? Paying for overnight Shipping is expensive.  Especially when it's not her money that she's spending. As I was saying that would have to work since she wasn't willing to do anything else she said "do you want me to order the cage or not?" And I stopped and said yes, but he needs a little bit of money today as the bunny doesn't even have a water bottle and they can't drink water without one. Her reply to that? Again,  I quote,  "an animal will be fine without food and water until tomorrow,  it's 1 day". I was a little heated at that point, I was crying and upset and said "no they cant! Could you go without water for a day?!" And that's when SHE hung up on me. Yes, you read that right. 3 people from this so called company HUNG UP on us. Personally,  I am broke and can not afford to help my brother until I get paid next Friday. This is HIS MONEY and he has a LIVING, BREATHING, animal with a BEATING HEART that they could care less about it. But not only that, they treated my brother, someone who is LEGALLY mentally retarded like he was scum between their toes. I do not recommend using their services.
