We have rafted twice with PRC and we prefer Sean and Ginger (owners) because of their personalities and the rafting guides they hire. They are other rafting companies that have good reviews but our experience has been that if you are going to raft the Payette, PRC is the company to go with. They provide top of the line equipment n their top concern is your safety while not limiting excitement and having a great time. If you are coming from Boise you may be discouraged cause their office is farther away than the other companies, but that doesn't matter cause the other companies will just have to transport you farther via bus while PRC is literally right there at the launch in spot. Don't bother price shopping cause it is not necessary, all of the companies charge the same price. Your 1st concern should be safety and having a great time and PRC will make sure that you have both!! ALSO, GO WHEN THE RIVER IS AT IT'S HIGHEST!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

The Canyon trip was the first rafting trip I attended with the Payette River Company and let me tell you it was AMAZING! I have rafted in the past but the knowledge and professionalism of this company was astounding. Our guides Nate and Ewan made everyone feel safe and prepared for the class 3 and 4 rapids we would encounter. Nate's knowledge of the river's history was vast and only enriched our experience. Owners Ginger and Sean prepared a delicious lunch and went above and beyond to make sure everyone's dietary requirements were met. The photographer was able to capture the fun at multiple locations, ensuring we would have plenty of photos to document our experience. I was impressed with this rafting trip and our group can't wait to attend their 2 day trip next season. I would highly recommend this company and the Canyon trip. Thanks again for the memorable experience!

It's been about six or seven years - at least - since I went on my first trip with this company... And I STILL think about it all the time! Trip of a lifetime! We did a 4 day trip if my memory serves. I was younger and went with my family. Kid friendly - check! Fun for adults - check! Food was amazing, guides were so great with my younger sister, and the rafting was awesome! Even let my brother and I try out a few runs solo in a kayak. I plan on booking a trip with my husband and our friends one day!

This was an awesome experience! We had Tyson as our guide and he directed us through all of the fun spots! The owners are really cool as well as all of the guides! I would recommend this to anyone! Next time we'll bring our kids!

We went on a half day trip and had a blast! Our guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable, professional and really friendly. They provided everything we needed. We will be doing this again. Thanks for a great experience!
