I have purchased quite a few nice pairs of shoes from Payless Shoes. Yes,as with a place, that sells anything at a discount, one must separate the wheat from the chaff.  I have gotten good service from theirore heavily made shoes, such as a pair, that I have, made by Rugged Outback.  Their canvas sneakers are not quite as impressive to me because they soil easily and don't hold up. As far as the atmosphere of the establishment, it is friendly and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I unhesitatingly recommend it.

They actually do cost much less. They have a huge inventory. The staff is actually helpful.
