first of all when I went in the store. It seemed like nobody was around. So I said I need help at the register to take back a pair of shoes. The one lady came up to the register I think she was the manager.  She had a very bad attitude very snotty I have been there before and never had a problem. I bought two pairs of shoes because my grandsons autistic and tried them on and took one back not worn. she looked at the receipt and the box three or four times. i had the tag, receipt and the box. I know the drill my daughter used to work there. I think her attitude was something to behold.

My friend and I visited the store in the ocean county mall Sunday January 15th 2017 to shop for shoes for my friend's wedding. I found what I needed and bought an extra pair of shoes as did my friend. Her total came to $50.99 even though she scanned her retail me not coupon. Something didn't seem right so after taking the receipt and further looking at it, the coupon never came off the order. We went back into the store and my friend told the woman that it still didn't seem right so the sales woman went to get the manager. The manager, whose name is Megan, told her that she needs to be a rewards member in order to get the 20% off coupon, which no one explained it to her and was not stated on the coupon. Megan , the supposed manager" became very nasty to my friend and told her "you can either keep the shoes or return them I really don't care." she was rude and nasty. My friend informed her she will be calling corporate and if she ever spoke to a customer like that she would be fired(my friend worked retail for many years). Megan was a horrid example of someone in authority and if I could give this store zero stars I would. She treated my friend with such disrespect and proceeded to yell at her and belittle her in front of other customers unprovoked. My friend simply questioned the price of the shoes. The attitude was completely unnecessary and this store lost 2 customers that day due to the disgusting behavior of Megan. She has no business being a manager or even having this job if this is how she treats people we will never shop in payless again.
