The boat ride was awesome. The captain was friendly. The staff made buying tickets easy.

Very quick ride to Island, crew was courteous and friendly. Prices are moderate since it is a round trip ticket. Definitely a place to go with the entire family and have a nice BBQ. Water shoes are recommended if you plan on going into the water due to the rocks around the Island. Great place to snorkel. If you don't have the gear they can rent it to you. Have been here for the last 4yrs with work and on personal trips and have enjoyed every minute.

Kind of expensive at $12 per person, but it's a tourist attraction, so that's par for the course.  The cost probably helps keep the islands a little less crowded anyway (if it were $1 per person everyone in Riviera Beach would be there).  They do pack the boat super full each trip but, again, that's to be expected.  Make sure you know the operating hours before going.  My party went over early, but I had other obligations.  When I returned to join my family on the island at 3:45 I was informed that the last trip TO the island was at 3:30, even though the last RETURN trip wasn't until 6.  I sat at the marina and waited for them for over two hours. :-/

It's always better to take your own boat, but if you can stand the 10-15 minute wait, the service is excellent and their timing is impeccable.  Rates are a little on the high side.  However, a day trip to peanut is worth it if you be never been.

Had a great adventure at peanut island. Very short ride in the shuttle to the island 😁
