I just love doing business with Leslie Steele at Pearson’s Travel! Almost anyone can plan a trip these days with websites like Expedia or TripAdvisor. But through many trips with my husband, family or friends, I have learned that it is the little things that make all the difference when it comes to travel planning. And Leslie has all the little things covered and then some. It is clear that Leslie really cares about her clients. This always makes us feel like our travels were arranged by a friend rather than a travel agent. Leslie’s services have always exceeded our expectations. We look forward to working with Leslie again to plan our next adventure!

I want to thank Leslie Steele for helping my family plan the vacation of a lifetime. She helped us book the Adventures by Disney trip to China. Leslie helped us plan the trip and book our airfare to Hong Kong and back from Shanghai to the states. Once there, the Adventures by Disney guides led us on a two week adventure across China. As a history teacher, I was in heaven. We visited Hong Kong, Beijing, Chengdu, Xian, Guilin, and Shanghai. The food was amazing, the hotels were amazing, the people were amazing. THE ENTIRE TRIP WAS AMAZING!!! Its going to be hard to out do this one.

I have been wanting to write this review for months about Judy Nicholson of Pearson's Travel but I had to wait until my cruise was over (today) due to the fear of her trying to sabotage my trip even further. Judy Nicholson is the most RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, CHILDISH, LYING, and CONTROLLING person I have ever meet. I allowed her to plan a cruise for ten of my friends and family and throughout her planning these are the things she did to sabotage my trip and without anyone in my group permission: 1. She charged her own personal credit card without anyone's knowledge/ permission in the amount of $300 ($50 balance per person). I told her I had only collected $100 per person because I was not aware of the $150. She told me to bring her the money I had collected and she will call Carnival and take care of it. Not once did she inform me that she would be charging her personal credit card for the remainder of the $150. I was not made aware of this until I received a text from her telling me that her credit card bill was due on Nov. 4, 2016 and she needed her money so she can pay her credit card bill. All she had to do was tell us and we would have paid the extra $50. We would have NEVER ASKED OR EXPECTED her to do this. We were FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!! 2. In February 2017 she charged one of my guest debit card without her permission for a payment when she was told to destroy the debit card information after the first payment Judy agreed. Judy called me after having an argument with my guest about the charge and asked that I be the link between them because she refused to speak with her by phone/text again (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL/CHILDISH). Judy stated to me during the conversation with my guest she apologized and agreed to refund her money and pay all NSF charges (if any). Judy also stated that my guest did give her permission to charge her debit card (LIAR). If someone gives you permission to charge their account you would not be so willing to fix the issue and even pay NSF charges. 3. In February- March 2017 I begin speaking with Judy on behalf of my guest listed above. While speaking to Judy by phone she does not let you speak (RUDE). She wants you to listen to her (CONTROLLING) but when you are speaking she won't listen. She begin talking while you are talking. She got angry with me and hung the phone up in my face and refuse to call back/answer. She would only respond to me by texting (UNPROFESSIONAL/CHILDISH). I asked her for my guest information listed about because Judy is refusing to speak with her by phone/text (cabin number, boarding passes, receipts, etc.) and Judy would text me and say she emailed it to her or it was on her receipt instead of just sending the information asked for (SABOTAGE). 4. Judy mailed me several of my guest boarding passes, she set our boarding times without anyone's permission (11-11:30, 12:30-3), set my group up on CASH accounts, set herself up as the emergency contact person for everyone, and we even changed our boarding times to 1-1:30 and she still changed it back without PERMISSION/NOTIFICATION to 11-11:30, 12:30-3 (SABOTAGE). I had to text her and let her know not to make any changes our times again and stop doing things without PERMISSION. 5. Judy would also speak her personal opinion on some of my guest financial situation (as if they can't afford it). None of my guest had ever given me the impression that they could not afford this trip and that's not for Judy to say (UNPROFESSIONAL). As a travel agent you will encounter all types of people and personalities. Every issue that I have listed above could have be avoided if Judy would have done her JOB!!!!!!! Thanks to Judy Nicholson none of my friends, family, coworkers, associates, will never use Pearson's Travel again!!!!!!!!!!! Tiffany Johnson May 18, 2017

I visited Pearson's Travel to schedule a much needed vacation to the Bahama's for a group of five people. I was directed to speak with Judy Nicholson and she seemed very eager to help me. They were having computer issues at the time and that is totally understandable, so the agent and I discussed what we wanted to book and she told me she would work on it at home and get back to me with prices. Well it has been a little over a week and I have not heard a word back from her. I contacted her four days after our initial meeting and told her what I had found on the internet as far as hotels and air fare. She then stated that she would get on it and call me back. Still nothing. I am extremely disappointed with the service that I have received and Pearson's came highly recommended from several physicians that I work with. We wanted to pay for this trip in full, and now I have to seek help elsewhere to make arrangements. Maybe the other agents are more helpful, however Judy Nicholson is not. Someone else may have better luck with Pearson's but I will not recommend them to anyone that I know. Also, the physicians I work with were not happy with the service I received from their recommendation, and they will take their business elsewhere.
