I've been going here since I was a kid and after a horrible experience with the Family clinic at the U of I we transferred my children back here. All was well until an abusive ex boyfriend got my phone number and started harrassing calls and voicemails. I was expecting a call from them but not wanting to listen to all of the stuff he left in my mail box I simply called them for information, only to be patronized by the front desk clerk. I asked for them not to leave a voicemail and to call back if they didn't get me but that's apparently too much and I was treated to a 'Oh but that's the only way they have to get hold of you'. I can't put my life on hold because of this. I have to keep using my phone. A tiny bit of cooperation would be nice.

I am very pleased with our current pediatrician at P.A. but I'm only giving them a e star because anyone that would employ Dr. Boyson doesn't deserve more. The man is so unprofessional. My 2 year old son had a sensitive issue and when I asked dr. Boyson to take a look at it but not take any action he said he would. And then, without warning me or my son, he did something that hurt my son very badly. My son is now 13 and he still talks about it. It was so bad I seriously considered a lawsuit. Dr. Goldenstein and Dr. Boscaljohn are wonderful. But stay away from Dr. Boyson.

My experience was horrendous at Pediatric Associates of Iowa City and Coralville. The front desk personnel was rude and unprofessional when getting my information and when I ask a simple question about follow up. Dr. Gadner saw my child she is calm and pleasant but did not give me information about vaccinations that were given, and was not interested on answering my questions or concerns during my visit. Nurse was screaming giving me directions and was I asked and tried to give an opinion, she also was rude and told me she knew better, knew how to handle the situation as she has more experience (I just asked a question and gave an opinion as a "mom" Although, I am a RN with five years of experience working in ER with children, so I feel comfortable given an opinion) Overall experience was bad! I'm not planning to come back. If you are not from Iowa ...just stay away...I also believe they might have trouble with people who speak English as a second language...ridiculous!!! I will give them a zero but I can't ....

Excellent service! My three kids had vaccines and the nurses were professional and kind. I have had fantastic care from the doctors and have never felt rushed. Best Pediatric office in Iowa City!!!
