When my kids were born we use the pediatrician I had as a child, but I wasn't happy. I switched to Pediatric Associates of Cheshire because of other reviews. The office staff and the nurses are friendly and the doctors are amazing. They are very throughout. They found things that my children's pediatrician had missed. They had great referrals to other professionals that were great with the kids. They are highly knowledgeable, and very modern. It is a bonus that each of the rooms are beautifully decorated to child friendly wall to wall morals. The facility is immaculate and extremely well managed.

Rude!!. Discrimination!! I chose this place because of awesome doctor review which is what I want. The best for my children. When I called to make an appointment, they said I am required to provide for my own interpreter. ADA law require that a office provide an intepreter, not the patient. They clearly refused. Not deaf friendly. So disappointed my children can't have the best doctor.

I had moved from MA to CT this summer. I am a nurse. I had researched a physician group by word of mouth. I had called this physician group and gave details about both of my teenagers. (We had been with the same physicians in MA since my kids were born; I have an excellent communication pattern with their prior group). I am a proactive parent who believes in communication and preparation for teenage health. My daughter gets very sick and her prior pediatrician and I had been working on getting her to an ENT before we moved. I had shared my daughter's health in advance with this new pediatric group. Although it is not life threatening her illnesses impact her absences from school. At my daughter's first physical I was offering the new MD. Dr. Herz my daughter's health history and how important it is that she is aware- especially before the upcoming fall/winter months. She said she did not get the health history and there was nothing in her chart. I called the prior pediatric group and they did send it- Dr. Herz simply did not open the right tab! I shared at the physical what to expect in the fall in an effort so that we could be ready together and keep my daughter healthy. Sadly, my daughter did get sick again, we made an appointment today and Dr. Herz had never looked at her records, lied about never receiving them the first time, when prior PCP has confirmation that this office did receive them. Furthermore, she dismissed me giving health history again and declined to even call her prior PCP today "I am sure she is too busy." My son saw a male PCP for his physical and he was arrogant and aloof- luckily my son is always healthy. This office provides lack luster and poor health care- here is a parent- me- trying to make it easy for them- doing the RIGHT thing by communicating in advance my child's health history and concerns- and they couldn't EVEN DO THAT - they couldn't even listen, look at her health history or call the prior PCP ???? I would NOT recommend this office. Dr. Herz didn't even read her OWN notes from our physical and had no recollection that I had asked for an ENT referral so that I could continue the treatment pattern we were in the middle of in MA. Not even sure why she is a physician...and arrogance in any profession is dangerous! Stay out of this office....

Dr. O'Connor is a wonderful, compassionate physician. He welcomes questions and never makes me feel silly for asking as a first time Mom! Office staff are friendly and helpful. Great place.
