Dr. Glass is a specialty trained dentist to treat the oral health needs of infants, children and young adults.
He attended the University of Tennessee Pediatric Dental Residency for 2 years after graduating dental school to obtain this level of training.
Many children are apprehensive about the dentist, and while pediatric dentists can not always remove this apprehension, they do their best to make it as easy and successful as possible to help ensure a life long relationship between your child and their dentist.

Another way to look at it is, the same way that some parents prefer for their kids to see a pediatrician instead of a family physician, some parents prefer their kids to see a pediatric dentist instead of a family/general dentist.
