The atmosphere of this restaurant itself makes the Peekamoose worth visiting -- a cozy, rustic, and woodsy feel in a beautiful setting. The staff are excellent -- knowledgeable and very proud of their locally sourced items. The food was good overall -- most, but not all, dishes we had that night (the menu changes) were excellent.

We ate in the casual dining side. (but both menus are available on either side!) The servers were so kind and hospitable even when we were the last people there. Food was delicious. The jalapeno cocktail was a nice treat. Dessert Donut: That's all I'm gonna say 🍩🍩🍩

Sorry but did not have a good experience. Had the hanging meat they had a fancy name for it but it came out cold and I could not cut it with the great big steak knife they gave me. First time I ever returned something back to the kitchen. The appetizers came out pretty fast and they gave us plenty of bread. We waited for ever for the dinners to come out. I could have got a better meal at the diner for a quarter of the price. Nice looking place but the owner needs to get out of the dining room taking to all the locals and keep an eye on what's going on with the kitchen.

We had a really fabulous meal here! Would highly recommend this to anyone in the area for a few days and would look forward to going back at another time to see how the menu would change with the seasons. The space is beautiful and walks a great balance between formal and comfortable; the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly (especially one of the owners who made a few warm and chatty appearances); the menu did an excellent job reflecting all the local and seasonal ingredients; and the food preparation was very skilled and thoughtful. Everything we ordered -- street corn, gnudi, arctic char, beef short ribs, banana bread pudding, peach cake -- was absolutely delicious, and there is an impressive list of local beers. A really wonderful experience overall.

I was part of a rehersal dinner for a wedding. Food was great, beer selection was decent but could have used a couple more IPA options. The manager on duty however, (she could have been the owner) approached our group and asked us to lower our voices. I am honest in saying that we were not being overtly loud, it was a family party. I noticed one table of 3 giving us dirty looks for quite some time prior to speaking with the same manager who asked us be quiet, they left before we were approached. We were a paying party of about 30 people, and quite frankly this person totally turned the mood of the bride and groom upside down. There were further unprofessional exchanges with this person which soured the mood even more. Don't accept a large reservation if you cannot accommodate all of your guests accordingly. The wait staff on the other hand was spectacular, as they all recognized the unnecessary actions of the manager.
