A small coffee place with a nice terrasse. Very good coffee and great service. The price is quite affordable and the place kind of remind me of Starbucks, but a better version of it. A good variety of pastries and snacks.Food: 4/5
Great coffee, great service. Good spot to load up on caffeine while getting some emails out the way Food: 5/5
Cost but can be tight on space. There are a few tables but these are right outside the restrooms. Hence sitting options are just a 4 person table near entrance, and window tall table.Food: 4/5
Super good coffee. I recommend you should stop by early morning to get a cuppa coffee.Food: 5/5
Best place to get vegan breakfast options quickly—in under 5 minutes!!!! Loved the Plant Based Vegan sandwich and oatmeal—so glad it came with individual packaged toppings too blueberry, brown sugar, and almonds!
Small coffee shop and not a lot of seating but it makes up for it in a massive way. Their coffee is top notch and their breakfasts sandwiches are some of the best in town. Would highly recommend to anyone in Chicago. Vegetarian options: Impossible bagel.
I came here for the Everything Plant Based breakfast sandwich. I was really impressed. The place is clean, service was good and prompt, and the prices were very reasonable. We spent around $30 for four people and we each got a drink and breakfast sandwich. This is a great spot for a vegan breakfast option.
Went there to for breakfast as other places around the area were fully booked on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a few sandwiches, a latte and a cup of coffee. They got free refills on certain drinks. They got wifi and a nice outside sitting area. Maybe the price on the higher side but it’s not bad. Recommended for sure
Pumpkin cranberry muffin was good, I came for the horchata oat milk cold brew, I wish it tasted more like horchata. The flavor was muted. Staff very nice! Good quality coffee.Food: 4/5
TLDR: Staff is skilled but overworked, and mgmt needs to organize workloads more efficiently amongst understaffed stores when full of customers. Live nearby and come here often for my friend Reggie. It's a great location with a nice outdoor patio tucked away on 8th St. Coffee and food are great, but the service tends to be lacking when it's busymornings and weekend and is notoriously understaffed. On any given weekend morning, there's usually a line of people out the door, but only because there's 2 or 3 staff members & sometimes a manager working the counter, and there's generally one utility staffer who is doing side work. Any successful restaurant that is understaffed and "in the weeds" behind several tickets knows that you pull employees away from "sidework" when there is a rush. Case in point: I was in line behind 6 or 7 people, I ordered on the mobile site and was quite literally able to make it to the front of the line BEFORE the coffee was even prepared for my mobile order, where there were 5 other tickets the overworked cashier/barista/food preparer was unable to attend to. Utility staffer could have been pouring all drinks, not requiring a barista. This IS absolutely NOT a negative review of the staff. It IS a negative review of the understaffing of the cafe and the subsequent workload that falls on too small a number of people, for too busy of a cafe. Mgmt needs to redirect missions and protocols for staff performing unnecessary sidework as people are lined up out the door of the establishment.
