Every time I visit Huntsville, I try to stop by Peggy Ann's to get a cake or some petit fours. Even though it was last minute, I was hoping to get a cake for my mom's birthday! As usual it was poor service on the phone, so I gave up on what was my favorite spot. Luckily Edgar's was able to save the day!  The had several cakes to choose from with warm and friendly service !

Ordered cake for husband's birthday. Didn't see these reviews until we were on the way to pick it up. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other opinions. Although the icing wasn't bad, the cake crumbles apart terribly! I suspect it's an overuse of oil in the recipe to keep the cake/s 'moist', but the result is a pile of crumbs (soft ones), not an actual slice of cake. It's very odd. I'll have to try another place next time I don't have time to bake it myself.
