I traveled 18 hours from Indiana to check on my sick daughter, the facility she is at will not let me see her, they won't let me talk to her on the phone! Everytime one of her immediate family calls to check on her they curse at us and hang up on us!  NOW THEY WONT ANSWER OUR CALLS AT ALL!! My child is in there!!!!  She made me promise I would come And they wont let me see or talk to her! My name is listed on her medical record so that i can ask questions but they disregard that fact! I am not being told ANYTHING!! When I requested police stand by assist for a wellness check of my daughter they sent an officer BUT NOT TO HELP ME!! THE DOORS WERE LOCKED AND MY DAUGHTER WAS IN THAT BUILDING AND THEY WOULD NOT LET ME SEE HER TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS OK!!!! THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TELL HER THAT I WAS THERE!! IT WAS VOLUNTARY, SHE CAN SIGN HERSELF OUT ANYTIME BUT THE POLICE AND FACILITY WOULD NOT TELL HER THAT!  SHE HAS A RIGHT TO AN INFORMED DECISION!! WHY DIDNT THE PPD PROTECT MY DAUGHTER'S RIGHTS???? SHE HAD A RIGHT TO KNOW I WAS THERE! THE PLACE SHE'S AT IS BREAKING LAWS AND POLICE WILL DO NOTHING!!!!! SHE HAS RIGHTS! YOU DON'T LOOSE YOUR RIGHTS BECAUSE OF ILLNESS!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON NOT TO TELL MY DAUGHTER I WAS HERE TO SUPPORT HER!! I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE ANGRY IN MY LIFE! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU PPPD!!!!! OFFICER BOONE 496 YOU WERE SO RUDE , MEAN AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!  I DID EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO, I KEPT CALM, I WAS PROFESSIONAL, I TRIED TO GET THEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT I AM HERE FOR MY DAUGHTERS BEST INTEREST AND I JUST WANT TO CHECK ON HER FOR MYSELF! THIS IS TRAUMATIC FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AND WILL NEVER BE OK!! YOU NEED TO BE FIRED OR SOMETHING NEEDS TO HUMBLE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THE WORST EXAMPLE OF A PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER! I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOU AT ALL. IT HAS NOW BEEN 7 TORCHEROUS DAYS SINCE I LAST SAW OR TALKED TO MY CHILD! I WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS!!!

This is the worst.... I was in a car accident and called at 2:41 and it's 4:05 and no one showed up...what kind of public service is this!!!..they deserve no stars TERRIBLE

Great, you were able to get a couple of foolish kids fired and hated by the community. One more example of arrogance and law enforcement wonders why they are held in such low esteem there days. Hope you don't try to pass yourselves off as Christians.

I am a brand new resident of Pembroke Pines, and I had a friend of the Keys in town and we decided to go out for breakfast at other than a fast food restaurant.  Not finding one open on Pines Bvd, I saw a police car and asked the female officer for advice--- she started giving me directions to a Cracker Barrel, which were somewhat complicated for a stranger, and she said, " on second thought, follow me, she proceeded to escort me to the Cracker Barrel on Sheridan.  I think her courtesy and professionalism says alot for the Pembroke Pines Police Dept- unfortunately  I did not get her name or badge number, noting only she had perfect teeth!  Unfortunately, the PP Police Dept does not list an email address on their website for compliments or complaints, and general observations.
