Since 1929, the Penguin Bookshop has been a fixture in the heart of Sewickley, PA. Though having been located in various storefronts throughout town over the years, the Penguin has been kept alive through the loyalty of its customers and the passion of its booksellers.
We offer an extensive collection of books for all ages, as well as journals, cards, newspapers, and magazines. We're proud to be an independent bookstore, a vibrant part of the Sewickley community, and a great literary resource for the Pittsburgh region.
We host many book signings for visiting authors, local book clubs, and additional community events. We hold a weekly Children's Storytime. A full listing of Penguin events can be found on our website - www.penguinbookshop.com.
We are located just 20 minutes outside of both Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh International Airport.
