My husband, Joseph Sullivan, attended the day program for three months and because of the incredible therapists who worked with him, he made huge improvements in his swallowing, vision, strength, balance and cognitive abilities, to name a few. I cannot say enough about the skilled, compassionate and kind therapists who worked with him. He has some more to improve on but he is taking a break for a few weeks and we be back in touch. Our heartfelt gratitude to Andrea, Marisa, Kiersten, Peg, Dawn and Kristina who has moved on. Also, thank you ladies at the front desk. So very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. If we do not ever need to return, we will miss all of you. So grateful to have been a part of this wonderful program.
Therapist Scott Cook quickly identified some causes for dizziness and developed a series of exercises that greatly helped. Also taught me to adjust my movements help with my dizziness. Very nice facility and personnel. Great results. Thanks
My wife spent 8 months receiving outpatient therapy after a serious spinal cord injury. We were indeed blessed that she had such competent and caring therapists. The entire team was excellent. Danielle was her primary Physical Therapist and Marisa, Lindsey,Erin, Jim, Peg, Eva, Victor, Michelle and Lindsey all made major contributions to my wife's recovery. Forgive me if I forgot anyone. The admin staff is exceptional -- they do everything possible to accommodate any requests. The facility is kept very clean and is very well equipped. These people REALLY care! Absolutely the best place for therapy in central PA. I highly recommend it!
After 2 unplanned major surgeries and inpatient rehab I continued my therapy at Penn State Health Outpatient Rehabilitation. Danielle was my physical therapist and Ava was my PTA. The plan formulated specifically for me was spot on in addressing goals I needed to achieve to become strong and independent. Both Danielle and Ava were right there with me as I did my exercises, so they were able to provide feedback and help if I needed it. The consistency of care was excellent; I only worked with them and not any other therapist for each session. A huge factor in my improvement was their ability to change up my plan as needed. Michelle and Lindsay at the front desk were awesome. If I needed to change an appointment they made it happen without a problem. Overall I feel Penn State Outpatient Rehab is the best kept secret and definitely outranks any larger setting. Everyone knows you by name and are so supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an excellent physical therapy program!
Excellent 5-star service! From the second I step off the elevator, I am warmly greeted and checked in by either Michelle or Lindsey sometimes both! and my therapist, Stacy Mierzwicki, is outstanding! This is a highly trained and compassionate group. I recommend Penn State Health Rehab to friends all the time!
After a horrific car accident, I tried PT elsewhere unsuccessfully, feeling so defeated. I then started OT here with ERIN for the win!! She was patient and kind, always being my biggest cheerleader to complete my tasks successfully. Her expertise, professionalism and simply believing in me, helped me to now function with confidence. Thank you. ERIN!!! On the front end, MICHELLE and LINDSAY were amazing too. Always greeting me with a genuine smile and conversation. Good job ladies!! If you want to recover in a professional non judgemental atmosphere, this is the place to go.
Way better than 30 Hope Drive therapy. I work with Danielle, Eva, and Erin at the Outpatient Department and they are very compassionate and knowledgeable. Michelle and Lindsey at the front desk are wonderful to work with and a pleasure to speak to. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
What a pleasant surprise to find this PT in my neighborhood. My past experiences have always been scheduled with Drayer whom I have always greatly appreciated. However, at PSU I met with Danielle who addressed my leg and hip pain this visit. We came up with a therapy based on stretching and I am happy to report that I left pain free and continue to do my stretches which are helping me to solve the problem. I appreciated the knowledge and visual explanations which helped me to understand and work through my problems. This was definitely a learning experience which I would have expected at this educational institution. thank you.
It was an amazing experience! Everyone was really great to work with. Everyone was really experienced and fun! I came out knowing that it was beneficial for me! A really great team.
Danielle, Kirsten, Staci, Erin, Dawn, Peg, Marissa and Olivia along with the rest of the staff are phenomenal. 5 weeks ago I was barely able to walk; was using a wc most of the time or a walker for short distances. Today I am walking with a cane most days. I know I would not have progressed to where I am know without their knowledge, communication with my doctor, support and encouragement. I will forever be grateful.
