I have called at all hours of the day and continue to get a message indicating I've called during busy hours... 11AM-4PM. Please do your job, turn on your phones. I understand it is a busy job, and quite thankless. However, respect that money you are being paid comes from the people you serve... you can do better.

Clean and crisp, a clear step up from the musty confines of the courthouse! Now that they work in an updated facility, the staff is much friendlier than in days past. The lines go quickly and there's plenty of places to sit while you wait.

The staff at the Pennington County Treasurer's Office have always been efficient and polite when I stop by to renew my vehicle license tags, change a vehicle title, or pay my property taxes. Although there is sometimes a short line, it moves quickly. TIP: It is best to avoid going to the Treasurer's Office around the last day of the month and the last Friday of the month because the lines tends to be a little longer due to people waiting until the last minute to renew their license plate tags. It is also best to avoid the last week of April and the last week of October because those are the times when property tax payments are due and that can make the line a little longer too.
