The Pennsylvania Art Conservatory restored my antique Chinese painted leather panel. My piece was warped, the backing was shot, and the some paint was missing. They painstakingly replaced the backing, removed the old varnish, touched up the missing paint, and straightened the entire piece. Philip Rosenfeld thoroughly explained the process and the end result. He answered all of my questions and I felt confident that my panel was in the best hands. All of the staff were exceptional and I could not be happier with the final product. I was curious about the whole process and the staff were kind enough to take images of the restoration and send me a cd of the process. I couldn't be happier with the end result. Professionals in every sense.
