Story

The Pensacola Police Department has 158 sworn officers who patrol and investigate crimes within the approximate 41 square miles of the City of Pensacola.

Mission

The Pensacola Police Department is committed to providing professional, efficient and courteous service to the public. Officers shall strive to improve the quality of life by enforcing laws in a fair and impartial manner while encouraging a spirit of cooperation and mutual trust with the public. Officers and support staff shall have respect for the dignity and rights of all people.

Statement on Bias-Based Policing:

Maintenance of public trust and confidence in the police is critical to effective policing and is achieved largely through fair and equitable treatment of the public. This is a basic requirement of law enforcement and the right of all persons in our society. All persons having contact with members of this Department shall be treated in a non-partisan, fair, equitable and objective manner, in accordance with law, and without consideration of their race, color, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, and sexual orientation, national origin, socio-economic standing or other individual characteristics or distinctions.

Bias Based Policing also referred to in some instances as (illegal) profiling refers to a decision by an officer to stop, detain, or search an individual based solely on the race, color, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, and sexual orientations, national origin, socio-economics standing or individual characteristics or distinctions. The Department prohibits Biased-Based Policing/ illegal profiling as a law enforcement tactic and will not tolerate or condone its use by any Member.

However, criminal profiling is legitimate law enforcement tool. It is an investigative method on which an Officer through observation of activities and environment, identifies suspicious behavior by individuals and develops a legal basis, consistent with the Fourth Amendment, to detain and question.

Any person may file a complaint with the Department if they feel they have been stopped or searched based on illegal profiling/Bias-Based Policing. No person shall be discouraged, intimidated or coerced from filing such a complaint.

The Pensacola Police Department is an Equal Opportunity/Equal Access employer and is a drug free workplace. No person will be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, disability, national origin, political affiliation, age, or any other legally protected status. The City of Pensacola will make reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Complete honesty, I would sleep better at night if i lived in the old wild west or complete anarchy. The thought that these idiots have a gun and a badge scares me more than a neighborhood full of serial killers. These officers are extremely uneducated and do not follow any type of code other than what they feel like doing at the moment Would be completely ok with not having any police force what so ever over having a billion pensacola police officers on duty Absolutely just a joke for a police force complete idiots that deserve to be in prison for what they do but ironically they are the ones arresting people Karma sucks and will be so happy to see the best officer in Pensacola relieved of his "duty" of wasting gasoline and writing tickets Internal affairs would have a field day here in Pensacola and can't wait to see it happen I will be first in line if there was any protest to their corruption EXTREME recommendation to completely clean out every single position and start fresh with officers with a elementary school education at minimum that right there would be the biggest problem solved I simply feel I should not be talking to a complete idiot wearing a badge that also carries a weapon with the ability to take someone's life I hope one of you idiots reads this and decides to read a book or something to decrease your complete stupidity and uselessness towards our society because every cent spent on you is a complete waste of money. I would rather watch my tax money literally burn then see you sit in chik fil a parking lot jacking off to your buddy parked next to you for two hours All of you literally just completely suck at your job and are so incompetent in life, you could not succeed in any other career Imagine the dumbass burn out in high school calling someone a complete idiot that guy is top material for the pensacola police department I honestly wish I could express myself in a better way because I feel this does not even cover 1% of your stupidity as a police force. If I could insult you all in a better way and truely hurt your feelings I would just love to do that. Coming from Detroit where the police literally just don't show up that should mean something. At least when they do show up, it's not a complete idiot you have to deal with. Long story short I would never in any situation purposely decide to have you dumbass idiots do anything for me because it would be embarrassing that I looked like I needed a adult with a child's education to help me I cannot express anymore how unprofessional and stupid every single one of you are and completely feel sorry for every citizen here that this is what they get stuck with and would rather have a dog running around my neighborhood than any of you fools I can only pray for your complete downfall because I fear if I express my rights as a american in public the tards will arrest me simply because they want to and that there is absolutely just pathetic

I would give zero stars if possible. Called for help numerous times and no one took me seriously when i was violently attacked on the street. They msde me out to be a criminal and touched me inappropriately with zero reason. Officer david Giorgio is the worst cop i have ever met in my life. Im not some punk with a "f*** the police attitude" either. He made me feel like dirt for simply reporting a crime. Worst cops in the country
