Biggest joke in my life first off i scheduled a battery change for my car, i rescheduled my appointment becuase I found a coupon code online that was worth 45 dollars in savings. The rep gave me an attitude just because I had multiple appointments. Ok fine I get that it must be annoying for the workers to see multiple appointments with the same customer so I understood that and wasn't upset. What did get me upset was the sudden charge for install when it's written online and again on posters in the store that battery install is free. On top of that the rep stated I purchased the wrong battery online. This came to much surprise to me since the website stated this product fits your vehicle. When I asked to get the coupon with the correct battery. The rep stated pep boys can't do it because it's not valid for this battery. What's crazy is that this was a pep boys coupon code that was giving to me by pepboys on the website, this is not a RetailMeNot or any other kind of third party coupon code. Left upset but didn't argue, made an appointment with the Pep boys 5 miles down the road and got my discount and my install for free and I didn't even mention my experience in their other store.

I had to get some oil for my car and some air freshener to get rid of smoke in my car and they came through with the barrels of hope in good prices, quality products and service was there to answer my questions! If we as customers don't see Pep Boys as a viable source for your auto needs I don't want to see alternatives! If the day comes when most people can service their own cars better than Pep Boys can be called Calm Boys enough stated!

I have found over the years that Pep Boys service and prices are great and consistent and that the staff is honest and do not try to sell me services I do not need. I highly recommend.

Update on this: 1 year later all 4 of my tires were showing metal on the insides of my tires. Called service, waited on hold for about 45 minutes, called back multiple times. And they say I have to buy new tires. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. DISGUSTED! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Dropped my car off at 12 looking for 2 new tires. 2 hours later I get a call stating they will only install 4. And I was forced to get 4 tires or nothing at all. I call them at 5 asking why it's taking so long they told me it's almost done. I get there at 530 waiting another 15min for anyone to come to the counter. (Multiple people outside smoking cigerettes). we had to finally go outside to ask for help. I set my car finally at 6pm. 6hrs for 4 new tires when I was promised 2 hours tops. that's not the worst part... They THREW my spare in my explorers trunk. (It goes under the car). They threw it on top of my 900$ work laptop and my tools along with getting my grandmother's blanket filthy. I went inside to complain but the kid at the counter ignored me. And didn't offer a solution. I get home to realize 2 of my LUG NUTS WHERE LOOSE. unacceptable! Beware this is not the first time something like this has happend.
