As mentioned by other reviewers, The Peppermill does draw an older crowd. As a dining group of one couple in our 40s and a couple in their 70s, this was fine. Overall, it was a solid dining experience. Everyone liked their food - cream of crab soup, oyster stew, coconut shrimp, lamb lollipops, beet salad, and prime rib. They provided large dessert portions for a very reasonable $5 or $6. And made good cocktails - Manhattans and Tom Collins. I found the star of the experience was our excellent server Debbie. She was amazingly fast and attentive without seeming intrusive or rushed. This isn’t my favorite restaurant because it’s not my favorite type of food, but I think they do well for their niche.

Quiet, Delicious, and won’t brake the bank. Ideal to take your Grandma or senior relatives. Do not bring loud kids, or you’ll ruin the atmosphere. Handicap accessible. Plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and well mannered. I’d recommend the Crab Pasta and the Baltimore chicken.

This was my first time. The staff were very friendly and professional. They did not miss a beat. The food was flavorful. One person in the party really enjoyed the meatloaf. Portions were normal.

Everyone jokes using various descriptions that only elderly folks dine at The Peppermill. While I have observed that most of the patrons are "mature", the menu is nicely varied and the quality of the food has been consistently good over the years. Lots of comfort food and daily specials. Not a lot of chef creativity, but fair prices, generous portions and tasty choices make this Towson/Lutherville restaurant a staple in the community. There is a full bar that also offers booths and table service with full menu. Save room for dessert as they tend to be very good. Service is great and staff is friendly. I recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Ok so I had a craving for some calf liver.  I looked for a location close to where I was at at the time shopping.  I seen a review saying " the best liver I've ever eaten". So I went with it. Well I must agree with that review!! Absolutely amazing!. Only thing is I'm still looking for more to appear for some leftovers. Well if you're in the mood for calf liver you would not go wrong choosing 'The Peppermill 's version! Good eaten!! Thanks !!

We started going here with my wife's parents. It's a regular spot for successful older folks in this area. Lunch and dinner are both great values of Baltimore Hun standards. Fried Oysters. Stewed Tomatoes. Best Oyster stew you will get anywhere. Filets. Chicken Baltimore. Amazing crab soup. We live in Frederick now. Went with some dear friends and it was terrific hun. Hot Fudge Sunday. Coconut Cake. O and a great slightly dirty martini.

Nice menu, decent prices, the portions were adequate but not large. The staff was excellent. Seems to cater to older diners.

Service was slow and we had a larger group. It was lunchtime but wasn't really busy. Had a hard time trying to get the waitress attention.  Mostly would give it another shot.  It came recommended maybe it was just a bad day,or maybe she was overwhelmedFood: 3/5

Can tell they are having trouble containing prices and quality. I appreciate the food quality and service. Wish things could better in this country.Food: 5/5
