This cute little mom and pop pizza shop is just great! We ordered take out on a Saturday evening and minutes before they closed the sweet Italian owner picked up the phone and took our last minute order even through they were literally 5 minutes away from closing. When we went to pick up the pizza, they were very nice and jokingly said with their cute Italian accent: "but why would you call us last minute like that? Why you no order before?" We all just laughed and thanked them so much for saving our hungry Saturday night! Great margarita pizza and fresh ingredients!

Excellent authentic food! Pizza and calzones are amazing. Wish they had free refills on drinks but that will not stop me from visiting Peps! This is one of my favorites places to eat in Naples. Try it...Well worth it!

Several weeks ago we had pizza at Peppi’s and it was very, very salty. The owner offered us a free pizza which we tried tonight. It was excellent!!! Crispy crust well seasoned sauce, not salty at all. Thank you, we will be back.

Naples has more than it's share of high priced restaurants. Peppi's is the quintessential small town local pizza place with good, reasonably priced Italian food. I don't know if you would call it authentic Italian food. It's probably more accurately described as Italian-American. It's the owners of the restaurant that gives the restaurant it's authenticity. The matriarch of the family answers the phone and works the cash register. Her husband does much of the cooking. I assume they are first generation Americans because the Italian accent is heavy and the English is not the best. Sometimes the language barrier is an obstacle when placing an order over the phone, but in my opinion, that's it's charm and I think it's worth the extra effort. I enjoy going to a restaurant where English is not the native tongue. It's a little bit like traveling to a foreign country without the hassle of travelling overseas. It irked me to read a review of someone who derided the person who answered the phone as not caring about a poor review. I'm pretty sure the person who answered the phone has no idea about online reviews and had no idea what the caller was talking about. Yes the restaurant may close earlier than the reviewer likes, but what does that have to do with the quality of the restaurant? It's better than your average small town local pizza and it's run by a 1st generation American family who come from Italy. I personally like the place and I eat there and order from them frequently. I don't write many reviews, but on this occasion I felt compelled to write one when I read a one star review from someone who has never even eaten there! Giving a restaurant a poor review because it closes before midnight makes no sense to me.
