Story

Visit Miami’s flagship art museum, and learn about modern and contemporary, international art at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Exhibitions highlight Miami’s diverse community and pivotal geographic location at the crossroads of the Americas. In addition to exploring the galleries, visitors can: enjoy waterfront dining at Verde restaurant; shop a unique selection of art books, furnishings and handmade items at the museum’s gift store; and take in the spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the elaborate hanging gardens. This is a terrific modern art museum.   The free tours are informative and highly recommended.  The building itself is a work of art, and the collection is very well curated.  The restaurant is worth visiting even if you don't go to the museum.  Quality food, fresh ingredients, and friendly service go a long way.  Easy access to mass transit and plentiful parking make it easy to visit.  This is a highlight of any trip to Miami.

Amazing place to check out either by yourself or with friends and/or family. Easy-going and super open. Very spacious inside and out. Friendly with dog-walking, but only on the outside premises. Tons of scenery. Plenty of art outside as well. Open to kids to check it out, too!

I love contemporary art and try to visit art museums all over the world. To say about Perez Art Museum I was impressed by the architecture of the building. There were some artworks that are worth to see. Love the idea of representation of video art - the labyrinth of rooms you should walk through. But in general it was not really impressive. 
Be prepared to pay $8 per hour for parking.

Waste of money. I wouldn't go back if you paid me. I'm not an artist, but I could duplicate the only 20 pieces of stuff they have in there in one week. So stupid. The hurricane should have destroyed this building. There is nothing in there that you couldn't just buy at hobby lobby and home depot for a grand total of $200. Again don't waste your time even if you have a kid. Its not for kids. Stupid! Not one star, but ZERO!

Beautiful, beautiful place! We went for happy hour. Only downside is parking was $20... Not sure we're all willing to pay that when we could do happy hour elsewhere with no parking fee.
