These guys changing prices on the spot. Watch out when they ring you up its always more. Second time it happened to me. And is that guy with the side burns a manager or something? Who the hell put him there, he is not a good business man with that attitude, total amateur. It took everything in me not to walk out of that store, but I'm going on a bad ass bike ride and really wanted that gear. Although he did give me a coupon and save me even more money. But that's not the point the tag said $119 where the pants are hanging. And that's the end of the story, I don't give a s*** about your MSRP and you telling me I don't have to get the gear with your attitude. The s*** is a lot cheaper online anyways, I just hate waiting. But with the way these stores are it looks like it's going to help with my patience.

Outstanding, efficient service and great conversation courtesy of Drew A., bike wrencher par excellence; not only did he fix my flat, he supplied some music recommendations for my next long beach ride. The crew here is always at the top of their game and the store brand gear is worth what they charge. Without my Performance brand women's chamois-lined compression shorts, my daily ride would not be as enjoyable or as long. The space they're in used to be an old movie theater -- cool high ceilings and lots of room to wheel your bike right in for service. Great parking in the back; easiest to enter driving northbound on Euclid from Santa Monica; the traffic light at Euclid and Wilshire takes forever to allow the southbound turn, especially at peak traffic hours.

Horhay is the best mechanic you can ask for, very helpful and goes the extra mile to make you have the best ride. Really nice store has great bikes and prices they've helped me out a lot. Overall great bike store.

Terrible, worst customer service I've ever received from a bike shop. About a month ago I took in two bikes for their trade in program( to purchase a commuter bike from them) both bikes were appraised and I ended up only wanting to trade one in. They then took pictures of the bike and told me they had to send it off to see if they value was right since the wheels were different from the manufacturer, I said ok and that they would contact me within 48 hours. After 3 days I called, spoke to the manager (the assistant manager was supposed to call me back) and he told me that he himself didnt even know how the trade in program worked and would find out and call me back. Needless to say, I never received a phone call and decided to forget about it and take my business elsewhere. I sold the bike privately and took my business to Helens Cycles in Santa Monica and purchased my new commuter bike where I was helped within minutes of entering the shop. Performance Bicycle may have a lot of items to chose from but their employees are inexperienced in the business.
