First time here, sold by manager who seated me on the skillet dinners. Once I decided I on which one I asked the waiter for the Chicken, bacon and broccoli. "We are out of chicken" he replies. Then why the hell would the manager push them on me. Totally unprofessional. Ended up just getting a bowl of tomato basil soup and a loaded baked potato. Soup was thick but lacked the flavor of any basil and the baked potato was just that baked and loaded. Just going to take my time and order a 1/2 priced slice of pie after 9pm.
The place was spotless and restrooms were really clean waiter was attentive and place was quite.

It's a Perkins.  They have diner style breakfast and pie 24 hours a day and you can get some fried food after the bars close.  This is all typical of a Perkins.  However, the night staff here is particularly great!  They'll take care of your food needs and get you on your way before the garbage men even get up.

Was a delicious and well made breakfast! The waitress was very friendly and gracious! I had the steak with mushrooms and onions medium done which turned out very tender. The hash browns and scrambled eggs were hot and the pancakes melted in my mouth!!!! Would definitely go there again!!!!

Service was poor at best. Food was cold and wrong item made so I had to wait. Server was helping tables next to me it didn't bother refilling my beverage. Twenty minutes before I got a beverage or place my order. I've never had this kind of problem st this location. Sad!

Ankeny Perkins! By far the absolute best! Manager is so nice and cooks with pride and her customer service is outstanding!
