We are an Art Cooperative featuring local, Montana artists.

Story

Persimmon Gallery is an Artists Cooperative, artist owned and operated. That means when you come into our store, the person who greets you is also one of our artists. There are six partners; Deliah Albee, Wendy Anderson, Signe Ensign, Linda Ensign, and Callie Hulslander Cooper, and we also feature the work of local, Montana artists with talents in watercolor, mixed media, jewelry, pottery, clothing and more. Persimmon Gallery offers classes in jewelry, painting, and pottery for both kids and adults. We're an authorized Walkerware reseller and are happy to be part of the vibrant art community in the Village of Bigfork on Flathead Lake.

The artists and artwork at Persimmon are truly amazing. I often say this is my favorite shop on the planet, and always recommend that visitors to the Flathead stop in. I can always find something for a birthday, wedding or holiday gift here. A lovely and unique pair of earrings, a stunning painting, or a simple card to send to a loved one, Persimmon is my gallery of choice!

When I walked into the gallery, I instantly loved the warm and open ambiance! It was a sensory delight to see the variety and diversity of beautiful creations that are displayed. The quality of the artwork is excellent. I bought a pair of earrings which I still wear almost everyday...they remind me of the wonderful time I had in Bigfork and how this area is perfect for artists to create! Supporting local businesses is so important...keep that creativity alive! Cathy

OK I'm biased because my sister is involved with the gallery.  But I always buy gifts from this gallery for friends all over the country, The art is top quality, unique and sophisticated.   I have several of the Walkerware Christmas plates, many other platters from various artists, jewelry, bowls, ceramic ware, etc etc. I like to support artists because it's very hard to make a living in art and even if you purchase just one quality piece you will enjoy it so much more than generic things from Pottery Barn, Target or Pier One.  The customer service is great, too.

I have purchased some of my favorite art & jewelry from Persimmon.  Every time I walk in , it brings a smile to my face, The gallery is ever changing and the artists who staff it are always so joyful and upbeat. It is truly a special place.

Persimmon Gallery is a rare gem. This artists' Co-Op has beautiful works of art that cross multiple artistic mediums. The local artists provide gorgeous items that are perfect for personal use, gifts and the various holidays. They are one-of-a-kind pieces produced by one-of-a-kind artists. I love the selection and featured artists at Persimmon Gallery in Bigfork! The art, the jewelry, the ceramics - so many amazing pieces at so many different price points. A delightful gallery in the heart of a delightful village. Terrific pottery, paintings, jewelry and more, all affordable and all by local artists. I always find something to love in Persimmon -- and I'm betting you will, too!

Put the Persimmon Gallery on your list to visit while in Bigfork. Lovely collections without being too pricey for the average art lover.

I always make a point to visit the Persimmon Gallery whenever I'm in Montana.  We have a place in Whitefish, and it's definitely worth the drive.  I can tell you that I always purchase and item or more on every visit.

This is a local art and Artisan gallery in Bigfork that host a number of really excellent pieces of art including paintings and pottery and sculptures it's really worth taking a look at and enjoying the craftsmanship of some master artists and artisans.  Bigfork has quite a number of art galleries so be sure to check out the other ones that are around town
